Daytime Fieldmouse

A rare daytime sighting of our resident Fieldmouse!

Normally strictly nocturnal it was seen scurrying around under the bird feeder for a couple of weeks in May, cleaning up the mess left by the fledgling birds who hadn’t quite got the hang of feeding from the feeders without dropping a considerable amount of food on the floor.
